Practical advice for a financially secure future

The following guidance and advice is subject to the UK regulatory regime, and is therefore targeted at consumers based in the UK.

What are investments?

Investments are designed to be held for a longer term, usually at least five years. It is important to be comfortable with committing your funds for a period of time, in addition to having accessible savings alongside any investments.

You speak directly to Ross or Stewart, not an anonymous individual who barely knows you. This is a huge plus for me as is their knowledge of the increasingly complex world of investments. I would be lost without them.

Are bank deposits different to investments?

When planning your finances, it is important to distinguish between bank deposits and investments.
Bank deposits are generally savings that can be accessed relatively quickly. These are often for a specific need or purchase, such as a holiday, new car or cash set aside to meet any unexpected emergency over the next few years e.g. home maintenance.
At M B Financial Planning, we are here to ensure you can achieve both your short- and long-term financial goals.
